World’s Most Popular AI Browser Comet’s Android App is Out!

Perplexity’s AI browser, Comet, has officially released its Android application. Information about the iOS version was also shared.

Perplexity, one of the leading artificial intelligence companies, officially launched its AI browser named Comet a few months ago. The browser was also recently made available for free. Now, a development that will further delight users has occurred.

Perplexity announced yesterday that Comet‘s mobile application has officially been released. Android users can now download and use Comet on their devices. The company is actively working on the iOS version and states that it will be coming to iPhones soon.

Most Features from Desktop Will Be Accessible on Mobile

The best part is that most of the features you see on the desktop will also be available in the mobile version of Comet. For example, while browsing the internet, you will be able to summon Perplexity’s built-in AI assistant and get help from it. You will also be able to access features like the assistant’s voice mode and its ability to summarize what you see.

Comet, which fundamentally changes the traditional browser experience, also includes features like using Perplexity as the default search engine and asking questions about open tabs. It can also assist you with tasks such as shopping, reservations, and planning. In addition to all this, it comes with a built-in ad blocker. The company stated that features such as searching across apps and sites, a full conversation tool, and creating shortcuts will be added to the mobile version in the coming weeks.
